In the State of Florida, the Earnings of the Head Of Family are protected or Exempt from Garnishment by Creditors. The only exception to this Law is when the Head Of Family earns over $750 per week in Disposable Earnings and he or she agrees in writing to such Garnishment.
Although the Earnings or Wages of the Head Of Family are Exempt from Garnishment in Florida, there is no established procedure in which the Head Of Family can use the benefit of this Law before he or she is Garnished by a Creditor.
